The centralization of all Vulnerable Sector Checks will be conducted by the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) for all Team Officials and Team Personnel for the 2024-25 season to: 1. ensure all screening is being done. 2. reduce number of screenings where individuals are changing and/or participating in multiple Associations. 3. provide a safe hockey environment.

BWGMHA 2024-25 Evaluation skates are just around the corner!  U5 - first day of hockey will be Saturday October 19th 8:15am at the Bradford Leisure Centre.

BWGMHA Girls Club registration is now open for registered members of BWGMHA! The girls (aged U5-U13) are on the ice from 5pm-6pm (BLC Paul Dossey) followed by fun activities in the Multi Purpose room upstairs at the Bradford Leisure Centre 6:15pm-8pm. Girls club will cost $125 this season for 6 dates starting in October.

Bradford Minor Hockey has opened U8 and U9 MD Player Evaluation forms to gauge interest for the 2024-25 season. The Bradford West Gwillimbury Minor Hockey Association Board has approved an additional U9 MD team for the upcoming 2024-25 season, provided registration numbers allow it. If successful, South Simcoe (Bradford) will support two, tier 2 teams to allow for more development opportunities for players within our communities.

BWGMHA would like to thank all applicants who applied to coach U8 and U9 MD teams for the 2024-25 season. Congratulations Jamie Patterson who will be coaching the U8MD team and Rick Turner who will be coaching the U9MD team! Player evaluation skates (tryouts) will be held in September.  Please keep an eye out on our website for more details.
