We are excited to announce that registration is now open for BWGMHA’s Pathway to Hockey (Intro to Hockey) program, which begins on January 4, 2025.   This 13-week program, an extension of the First Shift program, takes place on Saturday mornings at 9:15 AM at the Bradford Leisure Centre (Green Rink). Please note that the final session, scheduled for March 29, 2025, will be held at 9:00 AM on the Paul Dossey Rink, as the Green Rink ice will be removed.   The total cost for the program is $125.00 and opened to players aged 6-10.  Limited to 45 skaters.

In recent days, there have been reports of scam emails circulating within our community, targeting members of the Bradford Minor Hockey Association. As your trusted organization, we want to ensure that you remain vigilant and informed about these fraudulent activities. Scammers often attempt to deceive individuals by posing as legitimate entities or organizations (BWGMHA Board Members in our case), aiming to obtain sensitive information or financial gain. To help you identify and avoid falling victim to these scams, here are some quick tips:

BWGMHA Girls Club registration is now open for registered members of BWGMHA! The girls (aged U5-U13) are on the ice from 5pm-6pm (BLC Paul Dossey) followed by fun activities in the Multi Purpose room upstairs at the Bradford Leisure Centre 6:15pm-8pm. Girls club will cost $125 this season for 6 dates starting in October.

This notice is to advise you that County Road 4 (Hwy 11) will be closed to through traffic, between Line 9 and Line 11, and Line 10 will be closed to through traffic, between Sideroad 10 and County Road 4 (Hwy 11), from October 21, 2024 until December 13, 2024 to permit replacement of the Scanlon Creek culvert under County Road 4 (Hwy 11) at Line 10.  

The centralization of all Vulnerable Sector Checks will be conducted by the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) for all Team Officials and Team Personnel for the 2024-25 season to: 1. ensure all screening is being done. 2. reduce number of screenings where individuals are changing and/or participating in multiple Associations. 3. provide a safe hockey environment.
