The Bradford West Gwillimbury Minor Hockey Association (BWGMHA) operates the minor hockey programs in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, we are affiliated with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. We are a non profit, volunteer-run hockey association for players, ages 3 and up.  BWGMHA offers House League, and Local League programs.  Our Rep program operates through South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association.

To encourage, govern, organize, and develop Minor hockey programs for all ages up to and including the Juvenile age divisions for players in the Township of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

To serve and protect the mutual interests of all its members.

To recognize the integrity of local community programs and to encourage a strong sense of community pride and participation.

To enhance the positive values associated with hockey by providing leadership and initiatives to develop players, coaches, officials and local volunteers.

All our House League games and practices are played in Bradford on one of the three pads at our two local arenas  listed below.  

All our Competitive and Local League practices are played within Bradford.  Additional practice ice could be purchased by the team at any Bradford or Local Arenas.

Local League games area played as far North as Thornton and as far South as Richmond Hill.

Our typical season will begin in September/October and wrap up in March.

Operating as a non-profit organization, we depend on volunteers to maintain our strong programming. You don’t need to be a hockey expert to join our volunteer team, and we would encourage you to contact our Administrator to discuss opportunities. If you are interested in becoming a coach or helping with on ice activities this intention can be noted on your child’s application. Questions can also be directed to the contact noted above.
