Return to Play
The province has announced that the Stay-at-Home Order for the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has been lifted as of yesterday, Tuesday, February 16 and re-enters the Province's Re-opening Colour-Coded Framework in the RED Zone.
As a result, The Town's Emergency Control Group has approved a re-opening plan. Town of BWG staff continue to work on plans to re-open the BWG Leisure Centre in compliance with the provincial direction, and any new guidelines/restrictions from the health unit. A number of processes need to take place prior to re-opening, including: returning staff from emergency leaves and redeployment, training under modified processes, inspections and facility preparation.
The BWG Leisure Centre will re-open in a limited capacity on Monday, March 8.
Therefore, Bradford Minor Hockey is working on a return to hockey plan. Please stay tuned to our website for more details.
