Tyke Select Launch

Bradford Minor Hockey is proud to announce that our Tyke Select half-ice program has launched, and their season is underway. On Oct 28th, Bradford hosted the first ever Tyke Select Development Day where all participating York-Simcoe centres gathered for a day of half-ice hockey and season planning.  And on Nov 3rd, our Tyke Select team started their season. 


What is Tyke Select ? It's an old name for a completely new hockey program. 

Tyke Select is now a high-development stream for the 7-and-under age group that is structured around the age-appropriate mandates that have been handed down by Hockey Canada, the OHF and the OMHA.  In summary... it's high-skill hockey in HALF-ICE format.

We would like to invite all of our hockey families to check out this talented group of kids as they play this new up-tempo half-ice format. It's fast, the kids are highly skilled, and it's exciting to watch.
