Midgets win gold......again!!!!!!!!!!
The Midgets travelled to Lake Placid for a Can Am tourney on Halloween weekend and came back with Gold.
The Midgets played 5 strong games in the trip to New York. In game one the Bulldogs faced the Red Bank Generals from New Jersey. In a display of dominance the Bulldogs easily skated to an 11-0 victory.
Goals by Jesse Campbell with four, Doug Smith with two, Brett Young, Curtis Dubeau, Isaac Monix, Alex Nogalo and Connor May all with singles. Assist going to Nicholas Walton with four, Cole Camenzuli with two, Brandon Sholten, Moniz, Joe Heath, Nick Vecchiarelli, May, Smith and Nogalo all with singles.
Game Two saw them face the Leaside Flames. In another lopsided victory, the Bulldogs prevailed 9 to 2.
Goals from Jesse Campbell with three, Brandon Sholten with two, and singles from Cole Camenzuli, Curtis Dubeau and Doug Smith. Assists to Nicholas Walton with two, Campbell, Smith, Brett Young, Vecchiarelli and camenzuli all with singles.
Game three versus the Cumberland Jr grads was little tougher, yet Bradford prevailed 4 to 1.
Goals from Moniz, Camenzuli, Campbell and May, assists to Dubeau with two, Jacob Beadle and Heath added singles.
Game Four saw the Bulldogs face the Lancaster Firebirds in a spirited contest Bulldogs came away with a 7 to 1 victory. Goals from Curtis Dubeau with two, Jacob Beadle, Joe Heath, Nicholas Walton, Connor May and Brandon Sholten all with single markers. Assists to Evan Barosso, Curtis Dubeau, Joe Heath and Isaac Moniz. Nicholas Walton tallied three assists.
In Gold Medal Game Bradford faced Lancaster again for the second time in two days. This heated up into a physical contest. Bulldogs skated away with the Gold with a 5 to 2 victory.
Goals from Connor may with two, Dubeau, Young and Walton with singles. Assists to Nogalo with two, Campbell, May, Walton, Dubeau and Camenzuli with singles.
Special thanks to our goaltenders who played stellar and stood the task when needed. Jacob Flanagan and Noah Duva were outstanding.
