The Bradford Minor Peewee A team played in the Vaughan Silver Stick Tournament Dec 27th – 29th and brought home Silver

 

Game 1 – Bradford Martime Tractors Repairs 5 - Toronto Avalance – 2 – Goals by  # 3 Cameron MacDonald, # 7 Alex Desario, # 10 Nolan Barrie (2) , # 43 Julian Crosby

Assists to # 43 Julian Crosby, # 81 Nathan Stea, # 21 Karsen Christophersen (2), # 48 Nathan Gainer, # 55 Jackson Murdock

Winning Goalie - #33 Davonte Auger

 

Game 2 – Bradford Martime Tractor Repairs 3 – Lorne Park Ojibwa – 2 – Goals by # 55 Jackson Murdock, # 3 Cameron Macdonald, # 81 Nathan Stea

Assists to # 81 Nathan Stea

Winning Goalie – #29  Brayden Ingoglia

 

Game 3 – Bradford Martime Tractor Repairs 3 – Vaughan Rangers – 0 – Goals by # 55 Jackson Murdock (2)   # 81 Nathan Stea, 

Assists to #4 Graham Sim, # 43 Julian Crosby & # 21 Karsen Christophersen

Winning Goalie with a shut out – # 33 Davonte Auger

 

After winning 3 straight games, Bradford was ranked 1st place out of all 3 divisions (12 teams) heading to the semi finals to play the Wild Card team,  who’s season record was 28-5-2, but that didn’t scare the boys.

 

Semi Final game 4 – Bradford Martime Tractor Repairs 4 – Toronto Royals – 1 – Goals by # 91 Kevin Zwaal, # 7 Alex Desario (2)  # 81 Nathan Stea

Winning goalie with an amazing game played – # 29 Brayden Ingoglia

 

Championship game 5 – Bradford Martime Tractor Repairs – 1 – Innisfil Winterhawks – 4

Special mention goes out to our Captain and chosen MVP of the Silverstick Tournament # 81 Nathan Stea who never gives up and is always working hard on the ice

 

A great weekend had by all, thanks to the coaching staff, Jeremy Murdock, Roger Gwilliams, Ray Christophersen, Steve Macdonald & John Barrie

And a big applause to the Minor Peewee A team, the boys worked so hard and made us all proud.
