Midgets Win Gold!!!!!!!!
Bradford Bulldogs Midget A team won gold this weekend in the Richmond hill Early Bird Tournament.
In dramatic fashion the Bradford Midget A team won in its second tournament of the year.
After starting of a little slow in a 4 to 1 loss to the Brampton 45's, Bradford with a depleted line up gutted out a 2 to 1 victory on a back of a stellar effort by goal tender Jacob Flanagan.
Then a solid effort against North Toronto 3-0 and sailed through the Stouffville Clippers 6-1.
In a heart stopper of a game, Bradford in the semi's and vying for a rematch against the 45's, Bradford in stunning fashion tied the game up with scant seconds on the clock and eventually closing the deal with a shoot out victory.
In the final Bradford came out on fire and in 12 seconds scored to set the tone and fought to a 3-0 gold metal victory.
